2008 Strike One Baseball Pitching School...Camp is currently Full - Call to be put on a waiting list
Strike One Baseball Pitching School is designed to cover the proper basic pitching mechanics. Sessions are grouped to work on age appropriate distances and situations. Each day pitchers will throw live to catchers and work on both location and pitch selection. We will concentrate on the fast ball and change-up in most situations. We will work on proper throwing mechanics each day.
POINTS OF EMPHASIS: stretching--proper wind-up mechanics--pitching from the stretch--covering first base--balance drills--fielding your position--pick off moves at all bases.
Location The Camp is held at Gehrer's Performance Center, 3919 N. Hillcrest Suite 3, Bel Aire, Kansas, 67220.
EQUIPMENT TO BRING: Glove, tennis shoes, & athletic clothing. Check camp schedule for your time and cost. Parents and coaches are encouraged to attend.
